They are coextruded membranes based on monolithic breathable polymers
Advantages
• high breathability thanks to the microembossing which increases surface area
• high breathability due to the low amount of additives
• good reel unwinding thanks again to the microembossing
• low stickiness at room temperature (reduced reel blocking during warehousing)
• Smylex membranes can also be supplied laminated onto non woven substrates
Applications
They are used to make fabrics and other substrates waterproof and are permeable to water vapour at the same time
