Primex-Weather proof is a family of substrates used for external visual communication.
The range is specially designed to be printed wits UV cure technology which is the best printing method for non absorbing substrates.
The principal drawbacks of UV inks are the relatively low adhesion and low chemical and water resistance.
In order to cope with this limitation EX-P developed the Primex-Weather proof
The polyolefin environmentally friendly sheet is coated with special primer. The substrate is easily printed with any UV ink technology: Offset, Dry offset, Screen printing, Digital inkjet.
The final print result is scratch resistant also in wet conditions wash proof and sun protected.

Prim-ex Tag:

Applications: Hanging tags in the horticulture industry – Industrial Marking tags such as gas bottles signage

Main features: Cold weather resistant – White opaque for printing on both sides – Satin surface (increase gloss and orange peal effect of the Over Print Varnish) – Matt surface for ultimate scratch resistant.

Conversion: UV offset, Dry UV offset. Die cutting and creasing create excellent integral hinge.

Thickness range: 200-800µ

Prim-ex Vision:

Applications: Medium size format outdoor signage – Point of sale displays – Lamp shades – Back light white – Opaque white – Translucent.

Main features: Cold weather resistant – UV protected – Matt surface for ultimate scratch resistant.

Conversion: screen printing UV digital printing – Digital cutting and creasing

Thickness range: 350-800µ

Color: White opaque – White backlit – Natural any special color on request

Format: any size in the range 1250×2600 mm — 300X400 mm

Prim-ex IML:

Applications: large format In Mould Labels in injection molding.

Main features: UV protected – Embossed surface for ultimate scratch resistant and nice appearance.
